The telephone voice recorder is a state of the art device for recording
telephone conversation. The conversation is recorded on a MMC card.
The 32 bit processor digitizes the audio signal at a very fast and
stores it on a MMC card. The MMC card has FAT 32 file system, so that
MMC card can be read using any USB Card reader. The recorder has DTMF
decoder, and Real time cock. Hence along with audio files, the telephone
number, date, time and call duration are also recorded on MMC card.
The recorder is powered by a 5 volt DC adapter. There is also provision
for connecting Lithium – ion battery, so that recorder can work for 8 hours
without power.
The recorder can store 160-170 calls (average 3 minuet duration) on a 256 MB MMC card. This capacity will be doubled if a 512 MB MMC card is used. The MMC card has FAT32 file system. The report is saved as an HTML file and audio files as AU files. The media player of window supports AU file format. The report can be viewed in Internet Explorer. Appropriate links are provided in report file index.htm, for audio files. So to view the report, remove the MMC card from recorder and put in USB card reader connected to PC. The removable disk will appear in window explorer. Click the index.htm file. This will open in Internet explorer with links to audio files. You can save audio files with right click on audio file. The window XP and above no separate driver is required, however window98 may need driver for card reader. The Telephone Voice Recorder is sold as tested PCB to OEM with minimum quantity of 10 and above. To make it fully functional, MMC card, DC adapter, Box etc are required. For testing purpose, we can supply complete assembled unit in small quantity. The report file generated by Telephone Voice Recorder is index.htm file. To view this file click CLICK HERE.
